My name is Dr Marius Badal, I am an Internist/Nephrologist based in Jamaica.  I work with patients with kidney failure.  Over the years working with kidney disease patients, I have seen an increase in the number of persons developing kidney failure and the increase in the need to be treated to sustain their lives. These persons have to be administered two to three dialysis treatments per week for their lifetime. It is a struggle for many to afford the number of treatments required.

Due to this great need and concern, I decided to play a part by founding the Dialysis Aid Foundation Limited with the objective of providing financial aid to the less fortunate by way of sponsoring their dialysis treatments at different institutions across the island.
